The Chronicle Award was presented to James J. Brown on the occasion of the Golden Anniversary Reunion of St. Aidan's School, Williston Park, New York, Class of 1958, on July 11, 2009, at Craig Meadow Country Club in Northport, NY, with the inscription:

“We salute you and recognize your achievement in forever memorializing our fun-filled youth in Williston Park, New York, in your novel, 'Will The Laughter Stop? Baby Boomer Chronicles.' ”
